Back from our Euro road trip

From Rome to Andorra and back... Via France, Spain, Andorra, Principality of Monaco and ...Principality of Seborga!

Here our way to Andorra:

I drove all the way to Aix-En-Provance to meet Dee and Sean. On my way I met Roberto. A good friend from Genova:

..and then to Puy (close to Aix-en-Provance in France)

..to Avignon. Unfortunatley it  has flooded...so we didn't see much..

Le Compagnie des Chats - a kind of restaurant full of cats that sit around you...

...all the way to Nimes. Roman Arena and fancy hotel.

...flood in the news..

..our way to Andorra. On the Pyrenees...

..we had to pass by LLIVIA. Another Enclave studied by Sean (here some info in the link):

and finally we made it into Andorra!

The Parliament:

While diving back, we stopped by few nice spots  in France...

Carcassonne:

  Carcassonne. Amazing Medieval town:

..and stop in Arles. Here Van Gogh made some of his famous masterpieces...

LIVE...Van Gogh's "Cafe' Terrace at night" !
The very spot where he got inspired for his paint:

Back on the road once again in Provence....

...till the Gourges du Verdon. A nice canyon where we got crazy canyoning...

...and to Monaco. Where Parking a car is an art that requires amazing skills...

..fancy restaurant for once...

...Sean's new ride in front of the Casino...

...inside the casino...

...ouch menu...

...and to the Principality of Seborga! here some info:

..Sean got a Passport signed by Prince Marcello 1st himself!

And then Sanremo!

Unfortunately while we were travelling, a tragedy struck Italy. A bridge on one of the main highway in Genova (were we were supposed to drive by) collapsed.

We had to detour all the way up to piacenza, Parma and Bologna.

A good idea was to meet our friends Paola and Albetto from Ferrara downtown Bologna for lunch.

Then we've reached our staying in Tuscany: Casale d'Elsa and San Gimignano:
