Writing his own name.
I swear we didn't tell him how to do it. He'd just decided to copy our writing while we were doing it.
He did some "dry runs" following the shape of the letters with his finger fisrt for several times, then we gave him the pen expecting him to mess on the piece of paper.

Writing! - 2 and 1/2 today!
We were playing last night with crayons. Sean was asking me to write down his name and I intentionally left the spot for the letter E blank.
He took the crayon and he finished his name writing down the missign letter by himself!

A special visit from Paris!
Nearly 14 years and 4 kids later, Dee and Emma final met again (both looking, of course, exactly the same)! Despite some rainy weather, we had a really great time introducing our Parisian friends to Rome, and more importantly the giant container of NUTELLA!!! We've never seen such slim girls put away chocolate and proscuitto crudo like these 3! Sean picked up a bit of a French accent and now knows his numbers 1-10 in French too!!Sunday, November 07, 2010

Wine season!
Well...as a truly ITALIAN, Sean today had an amazing experience at the kindergarden:
Winemaking time! or VENDEMMIA in Italian.
Hironically,I bet this thing will be a no-no in the USA...a 2 years old boy and the word WINE combined might sound crazy and...uuuuh...illegally insane!
But we are in ITALY and we all are raised without any taboos toward wines and similar. I had my first beer when I was 6 months old!
So all the kids brought their own grapes, and they stumped'em with their feet. Unfortunately I have no picture of the making itself...And here's Sean's results:
