Missing the 500

Our Red-Beast (the 500) is "hospitalized". There are minor fixes needed and because it's going to be an actual restoration, it will take sometime. No rush...and hopefully no RUST.

We took a walk few hours ago and as soon as Sean met another 500, he'd just stood there like a stubborn mule...he didn't wanna walk anymore and wanted to get in.

Carnevale!

Sean is enjoying throwing confetti (and rolling in it!) at the local mall as practice for the real "Carnevale" starting this week. In his bedroom at home he was having a great time throwing balloons. Its incredible how he has grown and the picture above shows him with the same little toy after almost 20 months of eating and growing!

So..we've noticed that swimmig with those inflatable things on his arms, he couldn't move freely. A life jacket was the way to go, so his arms could be free. But there aren't life jacket so small in production so I had to make one. I've used an old t-shirt, attached to a wetsuit and stuffed with that foamy material you can find in computer boxes when you buy a brand new one. That made it! He could move his arms without sinking.

Time off around Rome

As an extension of Deidre's b-day celebration, we took 2 days off and we decided to become tour guides for Jodie...

Happy B-Day Dee!

Mission accomplished! We (me and Jodie) have been working on this since JULY. Deidre didn't know a thing and most importantly she didn't suspect a thing. As a SURPRISE, Jodie arrived yesterday morning at 6:30 am and I went to pick her up at te airport with a lame excuse ("I have to go to work this morning but I'll b back soon"). 1 hour later me and Jodie rang at the door and SURPRISE! Deidre was very surprised. I have everything on tape!

May the celebration begin!!

With Sean at the beach, it was the first time he'd noticed the moon. And Today the OLD LADY of the house recieved beautiful flowers from Nebraska...40th b-day is coming! gift.
